It's almost May and that means it's also just about time for one of our favorite holidays; Star Wars Day. So, this week, we thought we'd celebrate by talking about Our Favorite Star Wars Series Episodes! Whether it's animated or live action that you prefer, there really has been some wonderful content from A Galaxy Far, Far Away. We'll share the ones that impacted us the most and tell you why they make us fall in love with the franchise all over again.
Once we complete our look at Our Favorite Star Wars Series Episodes, it's time for the Disney Stories of the Week. After delaying our trip by a couple of days, we were finally able to make it to The Most Magical Place On Earth. And, this week, we’re telling you all about it. It’s Our April Walt Disney World Visit Recap. We share all of the fun and food we experienced at the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival as well as our quick visit to Magic Kingdom to check out the return of Happily Ever After.
But that wasn’t the only time one of us was lucky enough to stop by the Walt Disney World Resort, this week. On Saturday, Michelle was lucky enough to drop in on Disney’s Animal Kingdom for its 25th Birthday Celebration. She’ll fill you in on what it was like to celebrate this special anniversary at the park.
Once we finish up Our April Walt Disney World Visit Recap, it’s time for the Disney Stories of the Week. In this episode, we tell you when you’ll be able to buy into the new Disney Vacation Club tower coming to the Disneyland Hotel. Speaking of DVC, we also share some exciting details about a new addition coming to the Walt Disney World Resort. And, even though we’re not really close to Halloween, we do happen to be halfway there. So, that means we have some interesting Disney Spooky Season updates, as well.

We had to change our plans on our main topic just a little bit. But, that's good news for you because that means we get some of Michelle's always amazing research. This week, we return to our series looking back at a century of the Walt Disney Company with Disney At 100 - The 1970s - A Dream Realized. The '70s were a very tumultuous time for Disney. They were without Walt and Roy who had guided the company for over 50 years. Yet, somehow, they persevered and created some of our favorite locations we know and love to this day. Michelle will tell you who the players were behind it and some of the hurdles they had to clear to make it happen.
Once we finish up our Disney At 100 - The 1970s segment, it's time for the Disney Stories of the Week. In this episode, we share details of some amazing stuff headed to Disneyland Paris. We also discuss an exciting, new, nighttime event that is coming to the Disneyland Resort that is of particular interest to our LGBTQ+ friends. Then, we tell you a few new facts we learned about Tiana's Bayou Adventure including when your last chance will be to ride Splash Mountain at The Happiest Place One Earth. And we let you know when you'll be able to experience a super-heroic new musical show that is coming to Disney California Adventure Park.

This week's show just happens to fall on Easter Sunday. So, we thought this would be a great time for Our Disney Parks Easter Egg Hunt. The Disney Imagineers have placed loads of magical, little, semi-hidden gems throughout your favorite attractions. We'll share some of our favorites and where you can find them during your next visit to the parks.

We're back with another show exploring the 100 Years of Wonder that is the Walt Disney Company. This week, we take a look back at another interesting time in the company's history with our Disney At 100 - The '50s & '60s episode. Big things were happening within this time frame and most of it was great. However, there was also a big moment that would change the company, forever. That's why we're calling this segment, The Best of Times & The Worst of Times.

This week, we're getting the chance to preview Walt Disney World's newest amazing attraction when we attend our Annual Passholder preview for TRON Lightcycle/Run. While we're going to be riding it during the day, everything we see about this ride is that it looks even better at night. It's that time of year again! Yep, we've reached the month of March and that means there is Madness all around us and we are not immune to that here on the Hyperion Adventures Podcast.
